All India Management Association (AIMA) and St Stephen’s College, Delhi University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to collaborate in developing and delivering short courses in new age management skills

Professor John Varghese, Principal, St Stephen’s College and Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA signed the MoU. The MoU will be effective for 10 years.
The MoU was signed during AIMA’s 68th Foundation Day celebrations, which is also the official National Management Day of the country.
The scope of the MoU includes jointly developing and offering academic modules, programmes, and training to students, faculty, executives, administrators and entrepreneurs.
The joint courses would focus on new age knowledge and skills, including technology, that are relevant to contemporary business and governance.
The memorandum includes collaborating in facilitating industry-classroom interaction.
AIMA and St Stephen’s have also agreed to conduct joint conferences, seminars, and symposia.
Education Minister, Mr Dharmendra Pradhan was present on the occasion and he called the Mou between St Stephen’s College and AIMA an important step in implementing NEP.
Signing the MoU and addressing India’s management leaders, Prof Varghese said, “An institution of eminence is looking for partnerships with all of you symbolized in AIMA, and we hope that this partnership will lead us to a better relationship between academia and industry and a relationship that will give results for India and the world.”
Ms Sethi called the tie-up an important initiative that will bridge the gap between the industry and academia and also allow both eminent institutions to deliver even better education to their students.
