Candidates can appear for the test from their homes subject to certain norms, if they have a computer with webcam and internet connectivity conforming to the technical specifications, according to a statement by AIMA.
“Given that social distancing will be a norm in the foreseeable future, remote proctoring of examinations and tests is the way forward,” said AIMA Director General Rekha Sethi. “For students and recruiters both – it is secure, with AI based live proctoring by invigilators and you can take it from the safety of your home anytime,” she added.

Candidates who are found to be contravening the pre-specified behavioral norms for such tests would first be warned, and if repeating the offence, even disqualified, according to the statement.

There will also be a series of mock tests at a nominal extra fee so that the candidates have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with this new mode of testing before appearing for the actual test.
