Webinar on Covid-19 : Challenges for MSMEs
Saturday, 25th April, 2020 : 4:00pm - 6:00pm
The coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to a standstill. The worst affected segment in this crisis unarguably is the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The production facilities and retail has been hit big time. MSMEs engaged in Hotel Industry, Tourism Sector and Logistic have been witnessing a sharp drop in business. Impact will soon be visible in liquidity, plunging general sentiments and purchasing capacity. The impact is also having a cascading effect across the value chain.
Consumer goods, garments, footwear, utensils, automotive segments will see a major direct impact. Sectors which are dependent on high imports of raw materials such as electronics, consumer durables, pharma etc. are facing bottlenecks and so are the export oriented sectors due to a major drop in demand globally.
We must reflect and learn from the crisis we are going through in the present and revisit our approach in MSMEs to come out with effective solutions for the sustainable growth in this sector
With this thought, All India Management Association( AIMA) and all its affiliated Local Management Associations across the country are organising this important Webinar on COVID 19: Challenges for MSMEs to discuss the current situation and solutions to move ahead.
