The entire world is today disrupted by corona virus. Technology has emerged as important disruptor and facilitator in transforming the learning process. Technology has made borders meaningless thus creating a global opportunity for Indian institutions in online education.

The recent announcement by the Finance Minister that top 100 universities in India can now offer online courses and programmes without the Regulator’s permission, has created a new paradigm in online education. As universities transcend to online education, there is an urgent need to discuss and debate global opportunities and challenges in online education including linking education and skills with new work environment; transformation of online learning experience; online admissions; online assessment and quality of online programme and most importantly, move towards an accreditation system for online education.

To deliberate and debate these challenges, the All India Management Association (AIMA) a pioneer in the online education system in India, is organising a virtual Conference of Vice Chancellors, Provosts, Pro Chancellors, Directors, Deans, Senior Academicians and professionals from Industry: The Emerging Online Education, Post Covid 19.

The Vice Chancellors, Provost, Pro Chancellors , Directors and Deans are invited to participate.

The conference will also deliberate on critical issues of reputation, quality, and technology platforms for admissions, academic delivery, examinations and assessment and help create a policy paper for the government’s consideration.
