AIMA organised the ‘Transforming Academic Institutions - Summit 2023’, a programme for Academic Leaders, VC’s, Directors, Deans and Board Members on 19^th July 2023 at New Delhi.

Transforming Academic Institution Summit (TAI) was designed for academic leaders and stakeholders in managing higher education enterprises. The focus of the summit was on comprehending current management challenges in higher education institutions, particularly regarding admissions, academic quality, ranking positioning, and student employability.

Prof. Rajendra Srivastava, the chief mentor for the summit worked with several leading educators to design this one-day Summit. The Summit focused on the renovation and reinvention of academic programmes in management education. The summit was held in collaboration with EFMD and EQUIS.

Over 25 dignitaries from AICTE, NETF, AIU and UGC, IIMs, (Bangalore, Nagpur, Udaipur,) IITs, ISB, Jio University, BITSoM, Deakin University, Singapore Management University, MDI, University of Denver, Symbiosis International University, Shoolini University, and others shared their valuable insights during the Summit.  

The TAI Summit focussed on possible future pathways for institutional change., and saw the representation of over 45 universities and B schools. 10 Chancellors, Pro-Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, along with over 70 Professors, and academic leaders from top-ranked universities/business schools, government, and other stakeholders from India and abroad attended the summit.

As an intended outcome of the summit, AIMA will soon publish the ‘Transforming Academic Institutions Vision Paper 2030’ followed by a series of faculty development programmes and Academic Institutional Building and Transformation initiatives which will benefit a large number of B-Schools and HEIs in India.
