10th Global Procurement Summit 2025
AIMA in Partners with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and The World Bank, organised the 10th Global Procurement Summit on 10th - 11th February 2025. The theme for summit was "Maximizing Value Addition by Procurement through Sustainability & Simplification.
The Chief Guest of the summit was Mr. Ajay Tamta, Minister of State for Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Nikhil Sawhney, Past President, AIMA, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Triveni Turbines Ltd. The introductory remarks were given by Ms. Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA. AIMA, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India and the World Bank organised the 9th Global Procurement Summit 2024 on 8th - 9th February 2024. The theme for the summit was ‘Procurement: Enabler for Sustainable Development’. Mr. S Krishnan, I.A.S, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt. of India was the Chief Guest of the summit. Global Procurement Summit 2023
AIMA, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank organised the 8th Global Procurement Summit 2023 on 17th – 18th January 2023. The theme for the summit was ‘Procurement for Infrastructure Development’.
Mr Jayant Sinha, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Finance, Parliament of India, BJP Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand was the chief guest of the summit. The introductory remarks were given by Mr Shrinivas Dempo, President, AIMA and Chairman, Dempo Group of Companies and Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA delivered the welcome address. Mr Auguste Tano Kouamé Country Director-India, World Bank and Mr Takeo Konishi, Country Director, Asian Development Bank delivered the special address.
