Capital for Purpose

All India Management Association and St. Gallen Symposium, jointly organised a session on St Gallen Symposium’s theme of the year – ‘Capital with Purpose’ on 22nd January 2019 at AIMA, Lajpat Nagar.
Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, The Hero Enterprise & Past President, AIMA delivered the keynote address and talked about creating 'Capital for Purpose' by addressing underserved population, creating entrepreneurs, empowering artisans & craftsmen, and using technology as a tool for productivity. "What we've done is good but it isn't enough. There's a role for all of us to play, as individuals, organisations and associations. It doesn't matter how advanced you're unless you can't take care of all of your people. Be good, do good." he said.
Mr Florin Muller, Head, Economics & Commercial Section, Embassy of Switzerland in India, gave brief remarks on Swiss-India Relationship. Mr Beat Moser, Person Responsible for India, St. Gallen Symposium delivered welcome remarks and set the context. He thanked AIMA, the official Indian partner of St. Gallen Symposium, and Embassy of Switzerland; and talked about how St. Gallen is leading initiative for intergenerational debates on economic, political, and social developments.
The programme was well attended by professionals and academicians and was very well received.
