All India Management Association is organizing an Interactive Session on Innovation Sutra with Dr Rekha Shetty, Founder, Mindspower Brand the Managing Director, Farstar Distribution Network. Dr Shetty has also authored a book on the subject. Indian CEOs have their own brand of innovation. A people oriented, low cost innovation on the run. This kind of innovation is born out of thrift and a desire to squeeze the last ounce of value from limited resources. It is respectful in spirit and honours all forms of potential wealth.Dr Rekha Shetty will cover aspects like Innovation Secrets of Indians CEOs, The Innovation Thinking Tools for success and profitability, The Navarasas of the positive field and the Emotional Quotient, How to measure your Innovation Quotient.
The session will be held at AIMA on Friday, 26th April 2019 at the AIMA, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road from 1630 hrs to 1730 hrs.

Dr Rekha Shetty
Dr. Rekha Shetty is the Founder of the Mindspower Brand the Managing Director of Farstar Distribution Network, a twenty-one-year-old company working exclusively on innovation initiatives, happiness and work–life balance. Dr Shetty consults with some of the major corporates on long term Innovation Initiatives and is keenly involved in social action for clean water and population development issues. She is an author, an entrepreneur and an original thinker. A Ph.D from Madras University, on the subject of Innovation. Dr. Rekha Shetty began her career with a brilliant academic record with two university ranks. Her thoughts come from a deep study of many disciplines: Management, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, History and Spirituality.
Dr Shetty has conducted programmes worldwide to name a few countries - Siberia, Sri Lanka, Singapore and USA. She was invited by the U.S. State Department to be part of an expert team from 10 countries to study the problems and solutions to drug addiction. Dr Shetty has had a life long commitment to innovation and creativity in management. She is consulted in successful turnarounds, new product development and increasing profitability. Her long term Innovation Initiative, using 47 thinking tools helps in a steep increase in profits, reduction in costs, while improving customer satisfaction levels and employee participation levels. She is a consultant to several blue chip companies.
Dr Rekha Shetty was one of Asia’s first woman District Governor for Rotary International and was awarded Rotary’s highest Award – Service above Self.
