The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body for management in India with over 30,000 members through 67 Local Management Associations affiliated to it. AIMA was formed over 60 years ago and is a non-lobbying, not for profit organisation, working closely with industry, Government, academia and students, to further the cause of the management profession in India.
About AIMA- India Case Research Centre (ICRC)
India Case Research Centre (ICRC) is developing, publishing and distributing research-based high-quality Indian cases for Indian and International Business School consumption.
These high-quality Indian cases are accessible to B-Schools/universities from the AIMA case research portal - www.caseresearchaima.in. AIMA –ICRC has also entered into a collaboration with IIM-A, IIM-B, ISB and IIM-Trichy for the listing of the cases developed and published from their faculty.
AIMA as the apex body of management in India is active in developing the managerial capability. In furtherance of this objective, AIMA is organising the second Capability Building Workshop on effective case writing to develop the potential case writers and coach them in the rigour of academic case writing process.
All India Management Association’s, India Case Research Centre (ICRC) organised two days workshop on Case Teaching and Writing for University/B School Faculty and Research scholars on 30-31 August,2019 at, Mumbai.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Advisor, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Prof Rajan Saxena, Chairperson, AIMA-India Case Research Centre and Vice Chancellor & Distinguished Professor, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) give the keynote address. A K Sen Gupta, Founder and Convener at Higher Education Forum, Ex Director SIES, Dr Vinod Kumar President, SME Forum, Dr Meeta Sengupta Founder of the Centre for Education Strategy, Dr Raj Agarwal, Director AIMA –Centre for Management Education, Dr Meena Saxena, Director-International Linkages, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Prof Bala Krishnamoorthy Associate Dean & Prof (Strategy),NMIMS and Dr Anuja Pandey, Associate Professor, AIMA CME were the eminent faculty in panel discussion and technical sessions of the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to equip the participants with the skill of Case Teaching and Writing. The cases drafted during the workshop will be mentored by ICRC and further published in AIMA-ICRC’s Case Journal, the CASEPEDIA and also be used by the B Schools as a teaching aid across Indian B Schools.
Forty five faculty members from various B School and university departments were trained during this workshop.
