9th National Leadership Conclave
AIMA organised its 9th National Leadership Conclave themed- ‘Unshackling Leadership: Flexibility, agility, adaptability’ on 23rd April at New Delhi. The Inaugural Session was addressed by Mr Nikhil Sawhney, President, AIMA and VC & MD, Triveni Turbines and Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA.
A fireside chat on- ‘Unshackling Leadership in the Age of AI’ addressed by Mr Pradeep Khosla, Chancellor, University of California, San Diego, and Mr Nikhil Sawhney explored partnering opportunities for industry and academia in balancing AI's benefits and risks.
Some of the other eminent speakers included General Manoj Pande, Mr. T V Narendran, Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar, Mr. Harshavardhan Neotia, Mr. Piruz Khambatta, Mr. Vineet Agarwal, Mr. Shiv Siddhant Kaul, Mr. Vikram Chandra, Ms. Rachana Ranade, Mr. Ankur Warikoo, Ms. Neha Nagar, Ms. Sumita Kareer, Mr. Vivek Gupta, Mr. Abhay Hanjura, Mr. Yezdi Nagporewalla, Mr. Raj Chengappa, Mr. Harsh Pati Singhania, Mr. Vishal Kampani, Ms. Avarna Jain, Mr. Karan Johar amongst others.
The AIMA-KPGM Women Leadership in Corporate India 2024 Report was also released during the Session.
The conclave was physically attended by more than 400 delegates from industry, government, media and academia. Live streaming on AIMA’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels also increased viewership by several thousand and crossed over 1 million views on all platforms.

8th National Leadership Conclave
AIMA organised its 8th National Leadership Conclave in a hybrid mode on 11th April 2023 at New Delhi on the theme ‘Mission 2047: India’s tryst with a new destiny’, where dignitaries from various fields discussed how India is on the cusp of becoming a global force to reckon with.
Mr Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Government India addressed the inaugural session via a video message where he said, “I appreciate that AIMA is always taking up current and emerging national issues. For many years, the National Leadership Conclave has been a premiere forum for considering India’s challenges, opportunities, issues and strategies. I commend AIMA for focussing this year’s leadership conclave on India’s new destiny as the country marches towards its century year in 2047.” Mr Shrinivas Dempo, President, AIMA and Chairman, Dempo Group of Companies; Mr Nikhil Sawhney, Senior Vice President, AIMA and Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Triveni Turbine Ltd and Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA set the tone for discussions on India’s Mission 2047 at the inaugural session.
