A Head for Heights: Aspire, Learn, Lead
AIMA organised 12th Pragati- Celebrating Achievements of Women’ on the theme ‘A Head for Heights: Aspire, Learn, Lead’ on 2nd April 2024. The programme aimed to empower young women professionals tackle career challenges through curated sessions led by diverse speakers, who shared valuable insights for success. Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA initiated the proceedings with the welcome address warmly welcoming all the speakers and delegates. The Guest of Honour, Ms Archana Garodia Gupta talked about the challenges women face with ‘guilt and duty’ post-motherhood, and the Chief Guest, Mr Jayant Davar said that there’s no area where ‘women have not shattered the glass ceiling’, further emphasising the role of remarkable women leaders as beacons of inspiration for aspiring professionals seeking success.
A long-time member of AIMA, Ms Veena Swarup was also felicitated for her valuable contribution of championing and propelling Pragati as a programme at the occasion. Mr Neeraj Kapoor ended the inaugural session with a vote of thanks. The speakers who addressed the conference included Mr Pranjal Sharma; Dr. Harpreet A De Singh; Ms Priyanka Priyadarshini; Ms Rachana Singh Bhal; Ms Nina Chatrath; Ms Kiran Yadav; Ms Vasudha Sondhi; Dr. Shweta Singh amongst others.
A Special Session with Celebrity MasterChef Kandla Nijhowne offered the participants expert tips to enhance their culinary skills and delve into the intricacies of exceptional cuisine. The event also included a Women’s Quiz Competition. Grid Controller of India Ltd emerged as the winner while Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Steel Authority of India Ltd were declared runners up I & runners up II respectively.
Pragati - Celebrating Achievements of Women
AIMA organised Pragati - Celebrating Achievements of Women virtually on the theme ‘Embrace Equity: Challenge stereotype through Innovation, Inclusiveness & Inspiration’ on 23rd & 24th March 2023. Ms Rama Kirloskar, Joint Managing Director, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd delivered the special address for the conference and the introductory remarks were delivered by Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA. Ms Veena Swarup, Former Director - HR, EIL was the Conference Chairperson.

This Pragati included Best Practices and National-level Women’s Quiz Competitions. HPCL Ltd emerged as the Champions, while IOCL and Titan Company Ltd were declared runners up I & runners up II respectively.
AIMA’s National-level women’s quiz was conducted by the quiz master Mr Ajay Poonia. Vizag Steel Plant was declared the Champion, followed by Reserve Bank of India and Grid Controller of India Limited as the 1st Runners-up and 2nd Runners-up.
