AIMA honours distinguished and eminent personalities, who have made outstanding contribution in the corporate world and professional management every year by conferring fellowship, honorary fellowship and awards like JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award, Public Service Excellence Award and Life Time Achievement Award for Management. To encourage Academic Leadership in the field of Management Education, AIMA decided setting up of a new award in 2009, instituted by Mr Kewal Nohria, Past President AIMA, the ‘AIMA – Kewal Nohria Award For Academic Leadership in Management Education’.
The objective of the award is to recognise the professional experience and academic achievement of an individual in the area of Management education.
Our idea is to establish the award as recognition of a significant contribution to Institution building process, an illustrious career, a role model management academic who is well respected among the community of management students, researchers, faculty and practitioners.
